Wi-Fi QR Code Generator
Help guests join a Wi-Fi network without typing its name and password. The network details stay in your browser while you create the code.
Content
Your entries stay in this browser tab unless you explicitly save them to your account.
Match the network name and password exactly, including spaces. Anyone with the code can read the password. Use a guest network when possible.

Network details encoded in the image
A Wi-Fi QR code contains the network name (SSID), security setting, password when applicable, and whether the network is hidden. QR Code Fairy supports WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, and open networks. WPA is encoded using the widely recognized WPA label; joining a WPA3-only network still depends on device and reader support.
A QR code does not encrypt the password
The payload is encoded, not magically encrypted or access-controlled. Anyone with the image and a decoder can recover its network details. Share it as carefully as you would share the written password, and prefer a guest network separated from personal or business devices.
Changing the SSID, password, security mode, or hidden setting makes the old static code outdated. Create and distribute a replacement after a network change.
Test with a disconnected device
Enter the SSID and password exactly, including capitalization and spaces. Mark “Hidden network” only when the router does not broadcast its name. Test with a device that has not already saved the network; a captive portal may still require a browser step.
Enterprise networks that require usernames, certificates, or managed profiles are outside this generator’s supported fields, and not every scanner or operating system supports one-tap Wi-Fi joining.
